Veloretti expands its network of retail partners with more than 35 stores across the Netherlands

Veloretti, the Dutch bike brand acquired by Pon.Bike in 2022, is increasing its retail partner network with the addition of 25 new stores, bringing the total number to 36. The independent bike stores are located in all regions of the Netherlands and all share the same ambition to provide the best service to the country’s growing population of electric bike riders.

Ferry Zonder, Founder at Veloretti, says: “Veloretti started as a premium online bike brand, but we know how important it is to have an excellent offline experience as well. That’s why partnering with over 35 independent bike stores across the Netherlands is such a key milestone. Under this new hybrid model, we’re offering easier access and faster service for our riders, while also stepping up the purchase and assembly process for new customers.”

On the Veloretti website, people can find their local partner store to make a direct appointment. The stores offer several services:

Free test rides of the step-through Ivy Two and high-frame Ace Two bikes, so customers can feel the difference electric makes.

Assembly service for the final steps to get a Veloretti Electric road-ready. While the bikes are designed to be delivered to the doorstep with a toolkit for the final touches, this click-and-collect service caters to customers who prefer to ride straight away.

Repair and service so riders know they have a go-to for getting back on the road in case anything happens. The skilled technicians at Veloretti partner stores have the tools to take care of both Veloretti Electric One and Two bikes.

Veloretti aims to double its retail partner network later this year, as part of its wider efforts to offer reliable and convenient service to a broader community of customers based outside the major cities.

Veloretti was founded in 2012 and expanded into the electric bike market in 2021 with the Ivy and Ace. The Dutch bike brand spent two years refining the design to release the second-generation ‘Ivy and Ace Two’ in 2023. The award-winning bikes maintain what makes Veloretti’s next-generation electric bikes loved by their riders: high-quality, industry-standard components paired with a minimalist and seamless design.

About Veloretti

Veloretti was founded in Amsterdam in 2012 when Ferry Zonder couldn’t find a lightweight, stylish, and timeless city bike for his daily commute. So he made his own. In 2022, Veloretti joined the Pon bike family which includes other premium bike brands and concepts such as Swapfiets, Lease-A-Bike and Gazelle.

Veloretti Electric bikes are available exclusively in the Netherlands, Germany and Belgium.

Veloretti City and Kids bikes are available in the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, France, Spain, Italy, Denmark, Ireland, Sweden, Finland, Austria and Luxembourg.
